There were scenes when I cringed, gasped, laughed, and nearly cried. I could go on about this book, but I don't want to spoil it! Therefore, I'll say that this book was both exciting and beautiful at the same time. Will Daican succeed? Will Jace finally turn to the One who is calling out to him? Soon, the adventure moves to the land of Samara, where "the battle in Jace's heart" and that for the freedom of the Samarians are about to rage on.
